One of my favourites of my series of art which reflects the more evolution of our heritage, and in this case, relevant to where I live, as not far from Virginia is the Well of Brigid in Raffony. Here, I merge the more ancient Goddess figure of Brigid, with the Christian saint. What I love about these Holy Wells is the often mix of Pagan and Christian as offerings are left that still reflect both strands of faith, and in the end, each is done in genuine devotion, with respect for a continuation of belief through the eons.
